Terms & Conditions Of Enrolment: 1. Universal Studies will release your training materials in compact learning units as you progress systematically through each module. 2. You have five years to complete all your modules from the date your enrolment is processed. 3. The course fees include any postage incurred in the submission of assignments and all the services described in the prospectus. However, the business plan is an independent, optional service and only necessary if you need help to get a business loan. 4. All study materials become the property of the student upon full payment of course fees. They are, however, subject to copyright law and may not be used by anyone else. 5. Student opting to pay fees by instalments will be invoiced as these fall due. Accounts must be kept up to date, irrespective of progress within the course. If you fail to pay an instalment within the time allowance of the due date then your modules will be suspended until the next payment is resumed. 6. You can study as long as you like taking into account that the five-year period does not elapse. Once this period has elapsed it cannot be reviewed unless it is a well-defined case and is granted by us. 7. Fees paid in full are only refundable over a fifteen day period. However, if you are unhappy with the course after this fifteen day period, you will be entitled to claim part of your fees back, depending on which modules you have received. 8. An administration fee of £10 will be added to your account for every cheque returned unpaid by our bankers to cover charges incurred by ourselves. 9. Universal Studies has the right to refuse to accept any applications for enrolment. Their decision is final. 10. Universal Studies will award a diploma upon completion of the final examination of the course. 11. If you take out an instalment plan, your diploma may be withheld until you settle all owed payments. 12. The author of all supplied material retains copyright for this material. Course materials must not be reproduced in any way except with the written permission of the copyright holder. 13. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. REVISED 2002 |
